With a keen eye for color and design, Karen’s expertise in creating festive décor is beyond description. From conception to completion, Karen will help take your next event to the next level. Just like her favorite West Texas sunsets, Karen’s design concepts will leave you speechless!

When Karen isn’t busy working at the Fredda Turner Durham Children’s Museum, she loves to travel, dove hunt with husband Robert, play tennis, and paint watercolors of “our beautiful West Texas landscapes.”

A favorite celebration for Karen was her daughter’s wedding reception which she created, and says “was a labor of love”. “We had a wonderful time dancing, eating fabulous food and visiting with everyone. There were many joyous moments to cherish.”

Native Midlanders, Karen and her husband, Robert, have two adult children, Ashlee and Clayton. Her hopes and dreams for Pink Mesquite are to “bring joy, laughter and memorable moments to each and every event with a unique and personal touch.”
