With weather expected to be cold and breezy the day after Christmas, a tent was installed, completely trimmed in festive lighting.
Highlighting Texas and it's symbol of the 5-point star, the decorations included a bit of Western flavor with the star paper lanterns, red burlap-covered chargers, star and raffia napkin rings, and a lovely fajita buffet dinner by Fleur de Lis Foods. Nick Carlton provided the lighting and the music,
that featured what else? Texas Country of course!! Congratulations Steven and Danielle!

A Wonderful West Texas Winter Wedding!
One of the favorite restaurants for this guest of honor was Tampico Spanish Inn, so his wife chose to make it the location of his 80th celebration!
A former Midlander, Joe Parsley of Clear Lake was thrilled when he arrived to a Mariachi band...playing 'Happy Birthday" in his honor!

Family and friends came from as far away as New York to honor and celebrate with Joe and Lucy Parsley. Guests were greeted with cocktails and Joe's favorite nachos, while browsing and enjoying the many nostalgic photographs hanging throughout the patio party area.

Jim Moring presents Joe Parsley with a framed photo of the oil company team at Parker & Parsley in the '80's, as Howard Parker looks on.
A very festive cake created by Leslie Rabenaldt was 'Muy Fabuloso'!!
And enjoying the evening with Joe and Lucy were their good friends from Austin, Texas...Howard and Jane Parker!

Happy Birthday, Joe!
